Callaghan Engineering are the M&E engineering designers for Bray Primary and Post-Primary schools and Wexford Post Primary schools which form part of Schools Bundle 5 PPP. The three schools have a total constructed cost in excess of €30 million. Each is designed to achieve a BER rating of A2 and incorporate renewable technologies such as photovoltaic cells, rainwater harvesting and LED lighting throughout.
The Bray school also contains a Special Needs Unit which requires particular design approach to fully accommodate and maintain in a safe environment the students who will use and benefit from the facility. The schools are due to be completed in late 2017.
