Donal O’Callaghan retires from Callaghan|RED

Mark Smith, Managing Director has shared some words about Donal O'Callaghan's retirement.

"I am both pleased and sad to announce that Donal O’Callaghan, Co-Founder and Director of Callaghan Engineering, will retire today. I am pleased that Donal and his wife and business partner Miriam will get to enjoy some well earned leisure time and sad that Donal will be lost from the business that Donal and Miriam formed 32 years ago.

Donal and Miriam started Callaghan Engineering in 1990 and built it’s success around providing high quality design solutions to the high technology manufacturing, engineering and construction industries. Donal’s career has spanned over 40 years and he has been a great service provider to the construction sectors and wider industries in Ireland and abroad.

Donal leaves Callaghan|RED in good shape with Killian O’Neill at the helm and a staff of over 30 who will continue to build on the success of the business alongside the team at RED and ENGIE Impact.

I wish Donal and Miriam a long and happy retirement. It’s been a pleasure getting to know them over the past 2 years."
