Donal O'Callaghan – Managing DirectorDonal qualified from University College Dublin as a Chemical Engineer in 1973, and has over 36 years experience spanning manufacturing, engineering and construction industries. He has worked extensively abroad, mainly in the Middle East, Africa and North America. In 1990 he co-founded Callaghan Engineering, a multi-discipline engineering and project management firm specialising in projects in the biopharmaceutical, commercial, healthcare, educational, leisure and Government agency sectors. He has specialist expertise in project management and in cost control of multi-million euro projects. In addition, Donal has acquired specialist expertise in environmental consultancy, principally in relation to air and water pollution control and is a Professional Consultant to An Bord Pleanalá. He has a particular interest in the Asian market, and served as chairman of the Ireland China Association for a two year term in 2005 and 2006. |

Henry Hogg – Director of Project Engineering & ConstructionHenry has over thirty-eight years experience in design and construction of biopharma, petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical process plant. Henry is now Director of Project Engineering & Construction for Callaghan Engineering having previously been Director of Projects with specific responsibility for supervising safety, quality, budget and schedule, on all projects of value up to €100 million. He has also been project manager on various biopharma process/cleanroom projects. He has particular interest and expertise in process installations and laboratories in clean room environments. He has specific knowledge and experience of biopharma plant construction and Regulatory Compliance of same. He has detailed knowledge of biopharma plant capital cost estimation having had budget compilation and execution responsibility on a number of recent projects. |

Miriam O'Callaghan – Financial, Marketing and Human Resources DirectorMiriam worked in the healthcare sector for 20 years prior to the formation of Callaghan Engineering. In this role she was the Research Nurse for the National Maternity Hospital where she worked on a number of projects involving women's paid employment in pregnancy. Co founder of Callaghan Engineering, Miriam has responsibility for the Financial, Marketing and Human Resources sectors of the company. In her marketing role she has organised a number of events to increase the profile of Callaghan Engineering amongst our client base. In addition to her role as Financial, Marketing & HR Director of Callaghan Engineering, Miriam also served for a number of years on the Board of Enterprise Ireland, the Government Agency responsible for the development and promotion of the indigenous business sector. |
