Callaghan Engineering was established in 1990 by Donal & Miriam O'Callaghan with the specific ethos of providing a more flexible, competitive and personalised service than that which was available from the established engineering consultancies at the time.

Initially focused on process/project engineering, the firm's reputation grew quickly and in 1993, the company expanded it's operation by opening an office in Cork to better facilitate the established pharmaceutical & healthcare markets in the Munster region.

The following four years saw the company manage sustained growth with diversification into different markets, while the addition of mechanical and electrical services disciplines expanded the firm's capabilities and opened up new markets including Industrial, Commercial, & Government Agency assignments.

In 1997, Callaghan Engineering relocated it's headquarters to a modern, purpose built, 600 square metre office complex in central Dublin. This facility provided an opportunity to further diversify, with consultancy expertise now available for Planning Issues, Information Technology and Hazardous Areas to name but a few.

Today, the firm is a leading and progressive consulting engineering organisation providing high value engineering services with an enviable reputation for quality and service delivery. Callaghan Engineering has blue chip clients all over Ireland & has also completed projects for clients as far afield as Japan, Switzerland, China, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Our core ethos remains unchanged since the formation of the company in 1990. That is to provide a high quality, professional, competitive & personalised service to our clients at all times.
